Editorial Standards & Accuracy

How RYTZ keeps its family-law information accurate, current, and honest about its limits — so you can trust it when you are most vulnerable.

Grounded in primary Australian law

Every guide is built from a closed, curated corpus of Australian family law — the Family Law Act 1975 and its regulations, the rules, procedures and forms of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and a curated library of relevant, publicly available case law. We write in plain English and point to the primary source, so you can check what we say against the law itself.

Kept current, and dated

Family law changes — legislation is amended, fees are reset each 1 July, and precedents move. We run legal-currency audits against those changes and correct guides when the law shifts. Where a guide shows a "last reviewed" date, that date is the honest signal of when it was last checked — not a build artefact.

Reviewed before it ships

Content is produced and reviewed by the RYTZ Legal Intelligence Team and published under the accountability of our founder. We are explicit about what we are sure of, what we are not, and when a matter is beyond general information and needs a lawyer.

Information, not legal advice

RYTZ is a legal-information and case-building platform — not a law firm, and not your lawyer. Our guides explain how the system works; they do not tell you what to do in your specific matter, predict outcomes, or create a lawyer–client relationship. For advice on your circumstances, and for anything high-stakes or urgent, see a qualified Australian solicitor.

Found something wrong? Tell us

Accuracy on a topic this consequential is a responsibility we take seriously, and we would rather hear about an error than leave it standing. If a guide looks out of date or incorrect, email admin@rytz.com.au with the page and the issue — corrections are made at the source once verified.
